Learning Management
In order to offer a complete e-learning solution IRC has developed the commercially available SP Learning Platform. This learning management system contains both content management and learning management functionality. As part of the Business Logic Layer, the SP Learning Platform focuses on managing users, the registration process, the learning events, skill analysis, and all levels of reporting.
The SP Learning Platform provides User Management, Team Management, and Program Management. User Management focuses on the ability to add and edit users, provides search capabilities to easily locate a user, provides lists based on teams, groups, or last to login. To manage individual learners, the platform provides an editable learner profile and quick links to Active Content, Completed Content, Skill Training, Teams, Traditional Training, and Documents. By clicking on one of these options, the administrator can quickly access and make modifications to the user’s personal information and view any learning event history for a user-focused approach.
The SP Learning Platform provides a completely customizable user registration process. This can include Self-Registration or Administrative Registration. Each process can establish a set of roles and approval processes based on administrative approval or account status. This includes the management of usernames and passwords, automated email responses for both users and administrators, and the generation of user reports often useful for monitoring user status during the registration process.
Managing the learning event process is another key functionality of the SP Learning Platform. At this level, the system can track a host of data as the progress through the training process. Specifically, the systems allows for the creation or scheduling of a learning event such as a course or module. Once the event is created, the system tracks all relative data regarding that learning event. Data includes active users, past users, duration, assessment performance, and user feedback.
